What is the order of installation for the patches and mods?

The order of installation for the patches and mods is very important in order to get the checksum required by the league and be able to participate. The following order is recommended:

• Installation of the original game
• Update using the official patch v9.6
• Update using the NO-CD patch v1.02
• Installation of the GPxPatch
• Optionally the cars can be updated replacing the cars.wad file

HOFxLap, developed by SDI Utilities, is a hotlap/game file viewer, mainly used for authentication. Its installation is recommended because it is the official authentication tool.
